The overall form is loose and unstructured, easy and carefree. Softly folded lapels are layered, one longer than the other. The front of the jacket falls casually open, and the sleeves are long and loose (easy to roll-up if you want.) The front hemline angles out and it’s longer in the back. Made up in a gauzy, airy, ephemeral and completely luscious Balinese-made rayon batik. It’s both silky and soft and the drape/flow factor is exceptional. Different batik prints are pieced together to create a delightful interplay of pattern and color. And this remarkable fabric becomes softer and more pleasurable to wear with each laundering (cold water, drip dry.)
